- David Carruthers MBA Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on the 15th September 1957, David's rise to prominence began in Penicuik, a small Scottish town on the outskirts of Edinburgh. A summer job, writing odds on an over-sized white board at Ladbroke Racing, at that time the UK & Ireland's largest off track licensed bookmaker, proved to be the catalyst to a hugely successful career, culminating in establishing himself as a leader in the international gaming industry.
